This is an invitation for 1st Year MBA students to apply for internship opportunities in GSMO - India. Apply for this program if you will finish your MBA in 2022 and have a prior work experience of 32 to 72 months.

You should be available to intern with us during April - May 2021 for 8 to 10 week-period.

Mentorship Path

  • Your assignment will span over 2 weeks with the following focus areas:

    • Target Setting : You will connect with the mentor to understand the assignment and get more clarity on target setting & assessment parameters.
    • Mid-Point Connect : Mentor connects with you to check your progress.
    • Final Connect : You submit your final assignment.

  • Based on your mentor's feedback, you may be given an oppurtunity to present your work to a panel of leaders at Microsoft.

  • Candidates who perform well and get recommended by the panel of leaders will be considered for an internship opportunity for 2021 (April – May 2021).

Microsoft Consulting Services team helps ensure Microsoft customers around the world get the best outcomes from their investments in the very latest Microsoft technologies and services. They are focused on empowering customers on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering and supporting solutions that result in a happy customer and greater consumption of products and services. The mission of the team is to enable every company to be a digital business. With global reach, Microsoft Consulting Services drives digital transformation and modernization by engaging customers in market making initiatives.

The Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) team helps businesses achieve their digital transformation goals by matching customer challenges with Microsoft solutions. One of the fastest growing customer segments in the technology industry, this team helps customers get to the cloud across Microsoft solution areas like Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Applications and Infrastructure, and Data and AI.

The Public Sector segment is an organization of sellers including account executives, technical account sellers and industry focused sellers to deliver long term relationships and value to our Enterprise customers, building the momentum of digital transformation for our customers & partners as well as the company itself. The Public Sector team helps in accelerating our customers’ digital transformation and delivers on our short-term and long-term financial goals and responsibilities.

Customer Success Unit creates customer value by accelerating their desired outcomes across the end to end cloud journey. This team enables customers across the entire lifecycle of projects with industry leading architecture, design, resilience, performance, scale, operational policies & processes, and operations support. They also funnel back learnings from our customer projects into the Microsoft cloud engineering process to ensure that Microsoft cloud is the most secure, reliable and high performing cloud in the world.

Internship with GSMO India

  • About Microsoft Intern Program (MIP): The Microsoft Intern Program serves the primary function of building a pipeline for Microsoft full-time University hiring with the benefit of generating a positive image for Microsoft on university campuses worldwide.
    As an intern at GSMO India, you will take part in an 8- 10 weeks’ long internship (April – May 2021). Our interns work on projects that matter – and your team will rely on your skills and insights to help deliver those projects to market. You’ll get the opportunity to work on real projects and have fun along the way. This is your chance to show off your skills and work on cutting edge technology.

  • Eligibility Criteria: Students who are interested in GSMO Intern role and are completing their 2nd year MBA in 2022 with prior work experience of minimum 32 to 72 months are eligible to participate in the GSMO Engage program.

  • Stipend for internship : INR 1,25,000/- per month.

  • Duration of internship : 8-10 weeks (April – May 2021).
